Sometimes being silent is not an option, other times you have to watch and learn. This is definitely why we have two ears and one mouth, because if we keep talking we don't really hear much. Listen, really listen, hear the words but also pay attention to the tone inflection, nonverbal language, you will be able to decode the situation, before you respond, ask yourself, is my interpretation of the message correct, what message do I want to send in return?

Was the communication effective? what can i do to improve or make it clearer? In this complex word of over communication are we receiving too many messages, do I have time to decode, interpret and do I need to respond to everyone? DO I have the mental energy to stay tuned into this communication, messenger of outcome? If not what choices do i make? DO I just walk away silently, do i provide or request and explanation or am i committed enough to fight lie hell for what I believe is right?

Can i do this alone or who is on my team? where is my tribe?
